ABOUT THE COLLABORATORS
ADVENTURE - MUSICIAN
Adventure is a music project helmed by singer-songwriter Antony DiGiacomo. Its name stems from his desire to seek real-world experiences — akin to the adventures of artists, poets, and fictional characters of the past —while living in a culture that is caged by virtual experiences and social media.
Antony grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. From a young age he was immersed in music. His earliest memories are of dancing with his mother to The Monkees’ Greatest Hits. Much of his influence stems from 60’s psychedelic garage rock and 70’s punk. At age 12 he picked up the drums and played in his first band, The Vickies, at venues around the city such as Kenny’s Castaways and Pianos. But after his parents’ divorce, Antony and his mother sought refuge in the Hudson Valley. There, Antony blossomed as a songwriter, built a makeshift studio in the basement of the house he lived in and began experimenting with guitar, bass, synths, and his own voice. Unexpectedly, he also developed a relationship with nature — one he never knew he needed, and one that gave the sense of freedom that he lacked in the city. Thus, Adventure was born, and Antony began forming several lineups to play around the Hudson Valley and New York City.
Currently Antony resides in Kingston, New York, and spends most of his time at The Clubhouse recording studio in Rhinebeck, where he works with the owner, and his producer, Paul Antonell. He also spends his time with Amelia C. Williams, a visual artist and creator of The Lovebugs art series. Together, they seek to create an immersive art-and-music experience that promotes pure human interaction, creativity and diversity. Follow Adventure!
AMELIA C. WILLIAMS - MIXED MEDIA INSTALLATION ARTIST
Amelia C. Williams is a mixed-race mixed media artist whose work boldly navigates the boundaries between personal identity and societal projection. Using vibrant, electric colors as a visual cushion, she camouflages the emotional and thematic depth of her art, drawing viewers into her world while subtly confronting them with honest and often dark themes. Her work weaves layers of symbols and intricate details, presenting a real-time documentation of reactions to the modern world and a critical exploration of the American Dream—both as a collective ideal and through the lens of her personal experiences.
Skillfully balancing humor, keen observation, vulnerability, and themes of mental health, Williams delves into intersections of racial identity, the male gaze, and raw, unfiltered emotion. Her deconstructed observations interrogate the contradictions of the American Dream, exposing its falsities and the profound emotional toll it imposes.
Hailing from a long stint in Los Angeles after working in the fashion industry as a celebrity stylist, Amelia now resides in the Hudson Valley, painting, collaborating with Antony on immersive art experiences to promote connection through unfiltered emotion, integrating communities and exploring creativity.
"It Was All A Dream"
Amelia C. Williams’ It Was All A Dream explores the evolving nature of the American Dream through vibrant neon colors and mixed-media storytelling. Drawing from her personal experiences and the diverse communities she connects with, this collection offers a thoughtful reflection on how the dream has shifted over time. Through her signature bold and honest approach, Williams invites viewers to consider the complexities and shared hopes that shape the world around us.
And for a playful twist, inspired by Adventure’s new release Dreamgirl, the show will also feature the piece Amelia created with Antony for the single's cover—a dream within a dream.
LUIS MIGUEL JARAMILLO - TATTOO ARTIST
Tattoo and paint are self-discovery for Luis Miguel (Luismi/ Luis-mē) (he/him/el): they bring him an unexplainable sense of magic and privilege. This art teaches him the importance of the indelible, what lasts and what stays. What prevails.
His name is Luis Miguel (Luismi/ Luis-mē) (he/him/el). He comes from the nostalgic aroma of the coffee region — the western slopes of the Andes Mountains in Colombia — that opens the doors to the beautiful lands of his indigenous peoples of South America.
In his 30 years of life and more than a decade of immigration in South and North America, he always looked for ways of identifying himself and telling a story. Ink and traces have re-written his story and the values he embodies in the community that surrounds him.
Skin and paper had never had as much significance as after he decided to use them as canvas for his own vision of the world. Stay in the loop with Luis' work.
